Mark's Windshield Bugs

Inspired by Mark Brest van Kempen's artwork Collapsed Column in which he drove from Los Angeles to Oakland collecting windshield bugs on many specially prepared glass plates with sticky centers. He stopped his car at specific intervals to remove one plate and replace with a new one. 
I have never seen the Collapsed Column in person but decided to embroider my version of one such a plate.
